I Can Make a Difference Award (1)

This award is presented to the titleholder who has collected the most money, clothes and canned food for the Food Bank in her city/county.  More details will be announced soon.

Ad Sales Award  (1)

This award is given to the city/county titleholder who has generated the most sponsorship through ad sales.

 

Most Ticket Sales  (1)

This award goes to the city/county titleholder who sold the most tickets.

 

Married Longevity (1)

This award goes to the city/county titleholder who has been married the longest.

 

Scrapbook Award (1)

This award is given for the most creative scrapbook and design layout of a local/county titleholder's appearances that's she's made during her year.

 

Mrs. Congeniality (1)

This is a traditional award voted on solely by the contestants and awarded to that contestant who most displayed that spirit of warmth and camaraderie to her fellow contestants.

 

Mrs. Photogenic (1)

This award is not judged by the regular judges' panel, but by a separate panel of judges. To enter, contestants must appear in at least a 1/4-page ad in the program book. These ads may be purchased by the contestant herself, or by one of her sponsors. This competition is completely optional and has no bearing on the overall competition.

 

Performing Arts Award (1) 

This award is given to the contestant who has utilized a performing art when making her local appearances. There is no talent competition. Each year a few local titleholders perform talent at local events.

 

Kathy Kannada Appearance Award (1)

(Second annual award to be presented by Kathy Kannada, Mrs. Washington 2002)

This award is presented to the local city/county titleholder who has upheld the standards and image of the Mrs. Washington Pageant through the most use of her local title by making many appearances throughout her community.

 

Beth Kovacevich Workshop Award (1)

(Second annual award to be presented by Beth Kovacevich, Mrs. Washington 1996)

This award is presented in recognition of the outstanding and deserving city/county titleholder who represents the true spirit of pageantry by attending workshops and showing enthusiasm and commitment in helping others.

 

Community Service (2)

This award goes to the city/county titleholder who has volunteered many hours of her time to her community in service groups.

 

Volunteerism Award (2)

This award goes to the city/county titleholder who has volunteered many hours of her time to charity and hospital groups.

 

Woman of Achievement  (1)

This is a very special award given by the judges to one contestant each year for her lifetime of achievements and contributions she's made throughout her lifetime.

 

Outstanding Business Woman (1)

This award goes to the city/county titleholder who has made an impact in many lives with her business. She is innovative, creative and hard working.

 

Married Woman of the Year - Director's Choice Award (1)

This award is chosen by the director and is awarded to a local titleholder who has made a positive impression on the director by reaching her goals and/or excelling in her personal growth during the year.

Staff Volunteer of the Year Award (1)

The Mrs. Washington Pageant is comprised solely of volunteers. Many hours are spent year round putting together the production of the pageant. These fine individuals work tirelessly to make the organization successful. This award is presented to a member who has gone above and beyond using his/her time and talent.
